Privacy and the amounts you enter on Salairecom
The calculation runs in your browser. No salary you type is sent to a Salairecom server, placed in a web address or kept on your device. The site does, however, measure its audience with Google Analytics, only with your agreement, and its host logs requests like any web host.
What stays in your browser
- The amounts you type are used by the calculation inside the page and disappear when you close it.
- No amount is placed in the page address, sent to a server, or written to your device’s storage.
- Salairecom has no account and no submission form. The site is preparing to show Google AdSense ads (see below).
- The only things kept on your device are your choices: measurement cookies (accepted or declined) and hiding the information notice at the bottom of the page, never a calculation value.
What the host records
Like any web host, the service that delivers the site records the requests it receives: IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time. These technical logs are used to run and secure the site; they contain no typed amount, because amounts never leave your browser.
Audience measurement: Google Analytics
To learn which pages are useful, the production site loads the Google Analytics tag. It does not read the input fields or the results: the amounts you type are never passed to it.
- Before you choose, or if you decline: no measurement cookie is set. Anonymous, cookie-free signals may still be sent to Google (for example the page viewed and technical browser information).
- If you accept: Google sets measurement cookies and counts visits statistically (page views, duration, approximate country, device type). Google processes this data under its own policy.
- Changing your mind: the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page reopens the choice; you can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Advertising: the site loads the Google AdSense script so it can show ads. No ad is placed on the pages yet. When they are, Google may use cookies and identifiers to choose and measure ads; Google processes this data under its own policy, and never the amounts typed in the calculators.
What this does not mean
Salairecom does not promise that no data is processed at all: the host and, if you accept, Google process technical visit data. What the site guarantees is that no salary you type is sent.
Your rights
Visit data falls under the Moroccan law on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and, for visitors living in the European Union, the European data protection regulation. You may ask for access, correction or objection to the processing of your data; the publisher’s contact details are in the legal notice.
